Doris Burlean Dandridge, 71, of Johns Island, SC, wife of William Morgan Dandridge, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 26, 2021. Her funeral service will be held at the graveside Monday, March 29, 2021 in Live Oak Memorial Gardens at 2:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC 29414.
Doris was born March 1, 1950 in Darlington, SC, a daughter of the late Talmadge C. Haselden and Doris Willie Haselden. She spent her career as a school teacher, educating children at First Baptist of Johns Island and Carolina Bay Christian School.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years; a son, William Morgan Dandridge, II (Kami) of Charleston, SC; two sisters, Hilda F. Miller of Johns Island, SC, Donata D. Brown of Summerville, SC; a brother, Talmadge C. Haselden, Jr., of Johns Island, SC; two granddaughters, Caroline Seliquini, Mady Ruple; four great-grandchildren, Bella, Eli, Josiah, and Jasper. Doris was predeceased by her sister, Linda Haselden Stroud.
