Dora Jane Close Nepveux

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of January 16, 2011, Dora Jane Close Nepveux, wife of Reginald J. Nepveux.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Reginald J. Nepveux are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter in First Baptist Church of Charleston Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 2 p.m.  The parking lot at First Baptist Church will be available for parking Wednesday at 1:30 pm.  Burial will follow in Wassamassaw Baptist Churchyard, Moncks Corner.  The family will receive friends Tuesday at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL between 5 and 7 p.m.

Jane was born May 29, 1926 in Tavarres, Florida, the daughter of the late Col. Emory Close and the late Maude Close.  She was a graduate of John B. Stetson University. She was a docent for the Nathaniel Russell House and First Baptist Church of Charleston, an elementary school teacher and a tutor for those learning a second language. 

She is survived by her husband of Charleston and her daughter, Dr. Shyler Nepveux, DOM of Belleair Bluffs, FL.
