Donovan David "Deuce" Smalley

Donovan "Deuce" David Smalley, II, 15, of Goose Creek, SC, died Sunday, April 30, 2017. His funeral service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 in the First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 133 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445, at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Saturday at the church one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

Deuce was born November 9, 2001 in Charleston, SC, the only son of Donovan David Smalley, Sr. and Portia Lee Dunnagan Smalley. He was an A/B honor roll student and followed politics. His passion was self-taught guitar and he started a band. Deuce had a great sense of humor and a spunky spit fire personality. He was polite, loved by all and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his parents; grandmother, Mary Chandler; step-grandmother, Yvonne Smalley; three aunts, Destiny Havens, Trinket Smalley Wickline, Kathy Lilley; two uncles, Richard Dunnagan and Patrick Smalley; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents: Portia H. "D.D." Dunnagan, Trudy "G.G." Dawkins and Henry D. "PaPa" Smalley, Jr..
