Donnie Allen Harken, Sr., 80, of Johns Island, SC, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 12, 2025. His graveside service will be held Sunday, February 16, 2025 in Bethany Cemetery, 10 Cunnington Avenue. The family will receive friends in from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

Donnie was born January 31, 1945 in Charleston, SC, a son of the late John Henry Harken and the late Virginia Boles Harken. He was known to be an avid cruiser and will be remembered as a loving father and kind man. 

He is survived by his sons, Donnie Allen Harken, Jr. and Chris Harken; his caretaker and friend, Michael Fennessy; and many friends from Kiawah Island.
