Donna Marie Orner (née Csorba), age 81, passed away on May 23, 2026, in Charleston, South Carolina. Born on February 5, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio, Donna lived a life marked by love, dedication, and service to others.

A graduate of Mercy School of Nursing in Toledo, Ohio, Donna pursued a career as a Registered Nurse. Her work was more than a profession; it was a calling through which she touched countless lives with her compassion and care. While nursing brought her immense fulfillment, her greatest joy came from her role as "Nana." She cherished every moment spent with her 5 grandchildren, and her two great-granddaughters, Abi and Lili. Her family was the center of her world. Donna had a passion for reading and sewing and loved to travel. Above all else, she treasured time spent with her loved ones.

Whether gathered for holidays or sharing simple moments together, Donna’s warmth and love created memories that will be cherished forever. She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, David; her daughters Lissa and Rachel (Eric); her beloved grandchildren Hannah, Rebekka, Dylan, Sara, and Emily; and her great-granddaughters Abi and Lili. Donna also leaves behind her sisters Gerri Mele (Bill) and Beverly Grenwis (Tom ); brothers Rick Csorba(Judit), Robert Csorba, and Jeff Csorba (Anne); nieces Rosemary Nement(James) and Susanne Brockman(Karl ); nephew Nick Leone(Coni); along with great-nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.

Donna was predeceased by her parents Robert and Josephine Csorba and her dear Aunt, Toni Leone. Their memory remained close to Donna’s heart throughout her life. Donna’s legacy is one of love-for family, friends, and the many lives she touched through her work as a nurse.

The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the Hospice Staff who helped ensure Donna' s peace and comfort. Graveside services will be held at KKBE’s Huguenin Avenue Cemetery KKBE's Huguenin Avenue Cemetery on June 8, 2026, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim's General Fund or The Hattie Larlham Foundation.
