Donna Boyer Mizzell

Donna Boyer Mizzell, 61, of Johns Island, South Carolina, wife of William Edward Mizzell entered into eternal rest Thursday, May 25, 2023. Her memorial service will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:00 pm, and the family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm.

Donna was born December 5, 1961 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of  the late Edward E Boyer and Barbara Boyer. Known to many as "Momma D!" or "Da Map Queen", she loved St. Johns High School and Clemson Tiger Football. Donna always put others first, supporting her Johns Island community through any means. She leaves behind her dog, whom she adored, "Bo Gator", better known as "Momma's Baby". She will be remembered for her selfless, fun-loving spirit that always enjoyed life to it's fullest. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Corey (Henry Jones) Mizzell and William E. Mizzell, Jr.; her sister, Teena Bradley; and two grandchildren, Emerald and Sapphire Mizzell, Brendon Jones; her newphews, Louis Bradley, Ryan Mizzell and Daniel Grimes; her nieces, Tusami Floresca and Amy Grimes, and her close family, Katelyn (and her children). 

She was preceded in death by her niece, Olivia Grimes.
