Donald Patrick Winegardner, 61, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 18, 2026. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2026 at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

Donald was born December 9, 1964 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Clyde Winegardner and the late Mary Lee Lynch Winegardner. From an early age, Donald found happiness and excitement in the world of athletics. He was an avid collector of baseball cards, treasuring the history and stories each card represented. Donald's enthusiasm extended across a variety of sports; he was a dedicated supporter of Clemson, rooted for the Washington Redskins and the New York Yankees, and followed NASCAR and wrestling with great interest. The camaraderie and spirit inherent in each of those worlds gave him countless hours of enjoyment and connection.

In addition to his father, Clyde Winegardner, he is survived by two sons, Daniel Winegardner (Annie) of Cary, IL, and Jonathan Winegardner (Felicia) of Ladson, SC; grandchildren: Lia, Lana, Mason, Connar, and Ethan; brother, Matthew Winegardner of Goose Creek, SC; and many loved nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother. he was preceded in death by brothers, Kirk Daniel Winegardner, and Clyde Winegardner, IV.
