Donald Wayne Stephens, 51, of Hanahan, SC, husband of Loryce M.Thierfelder Stephens died Thursday, August 1, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, August 4, 2013 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 3:00 pm. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday one hour prior to the service in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Don was born September 2, 1961 in Gastonia, NC, son of the late Truman A. Stephens and Brenda VanDyke Barberri. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a Licensed Contractor in the remodeling business.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Loryce M. Stephens of Hanahan, SC; son Daniel Crane and his wife Lori of Augusta, GA; daughter Missy Stephens of Hanahan, SC; mother Brenda VanDyke Barberri of Charlotte, NC; sister Sandy Stephens of Charlotte, NC; brothers Reggie Stephens of Charlotte, NC and Kevin Stephens of Gastonia, NC.
