Donald Eugene Rowell

Donald Eugene Rowell, 60, of Englewood, Colorado, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023, in the place he called home for nearly 30 years, Denver, Colorado.

 

Don was born June 1, 1963, in Monroe, North Carolina, son of Donald Haywood Rowell and the late Mary Darnell Bowling Rowell.  Don was an avid skier who found comfort and peace living so close to the Colorado Rockies. He was also a Carolina Gamecock '85 alum who furthered his studies at the University of South Carolina School of Law. He graduated in 1988 and soon after began practice in the beautiful city of Charleston, SC at what was once McNair law firm. In 1994, he then planted his roots "In God's Country", Denver, CO where he began is own law practice. 

 

He is survived by his father, Donald Haywood Rowell of Pageland, SC; sister, Dana Berry (Tony) of Isle of Palms, SC; two nieces, Tinsley Berry and Mary Addison Berry; and one nephew, Ross Berry. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Darnell Bowling Rowell.
