Donald Francis Potter

Donald Francis Potter, 82, of Bluffton, South Carolina, husband of Susan Dott Potter, entered into eternal rest Friday, August 29, 2025.

Donald was born November 3, 1942 in Providence, Rhode Island, son of the late Henry Irving Potter and the late Alice Anderson Potter. He graduated from the Coast Guard Academy with Honors, Purdue’s MSIA program. While serving in the Coast Guard he was a search and rescue pilot He went on to retire from Lawrence Livermore Labs and L3. He enjoyed biking, golfing, and traveling.

In addition to his wife Susan he is survived by his daughter, Rachel Potter who lives in Asheville NC.
