Donald Porter Johnson

Donald Porter Johnson, 71, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Judith Brasfield Johnson, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, October 22, 2013. His graveside service will be held Friday, October 25, 2013 in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

Donald was born May 27, 1942 in Leominster, Massachusetts, son of Roscoe Walter Johnson and Evelyn Sayles Johnson. He was a retired Engineer and was a member of James Island Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Johnson of Charleston; two daughters, Stephanie Kirsten Sullivan (Robert) of Lynchburg, VA and Jessica Peterson of Charleston; a brother, Russell Johnson of Reno, NV; and three grandchildren, Matilda Daus Sullivan, Benjamin Chalkley Sullivan, and Anna Claire Peterson.
