Donald Francis Clement

Donald (Don) Francis Clement, 76, of Roanoke, VA, widower of Sallie Waikart Clement, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM, St. John's Lutheran Church in Roanoke, 4608 Brambleton Ave, Roanoke, VA 24018.

Don was born January 19, 1938 in Roanoke,Virginia, son of the late G. Frank Clement and Geraldine Beasley Clement. He was a Financial Advisor for 30 years and loved the relationships and life giving friendships he made through his work. Don was a member of Kiwanis, an active member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and a consistent contributor to his community and profession throughout his life. His heart for Christ, his family and friends, and all people was evident in everything he did. Don was a lover and a giver, truly living a life in pursuit of God.

He is survived by his three sons and their families, Geoff And Sarah Clement of Griffin, GA; Alan and Amy Clement of Charlotte, NC; Jeremy and Desiree Clement of Charleston, SC; his sister, Sally Turner (husband Lonnie) of Columbia, SC, and his six (soon to be seven) grandchildren: Hannah, Bethany, Joanna, Lydia, Maylie, and Zoey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 4608 Brambleton Avenue SW, Roanoke, VA 24018. If flowers are sent, please consider Spring flowers of a celebratory nature per Don's request.
