Donald C. Clark, 56, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Marjorie Stephens Clark passed away peacefully at home Monday, November 14, 2016. A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held at the Isle of Palms Exchange Club, 201 Palm Blvd., Isle of Palms, SC 29451, Monday, November 21 at 4:00 PM. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. Donald was born January 22, 1960 in Montclair, New Jersey, son of the late Foster Clark and the late Carol Ericson Clark. He was a 1978 graduate of Wando High School and a member of the Wando band. He graduated from Clemson University in 1983 where he was a proud member of Tiger Band. Following graduation, Donald worked for the Fulton County (GA) Board of Education as a Systems Analyst. For the past 15 years he worked for Blackbaud, where he was most currently a Senior Technical Consultant.
Donald was an active member of First Church of Christ, Scientist where he served, over the years, on the Board of Directors, as Second Reader and as the chairman of various committees.
His greatest joys in life were his family - especially his daughters. He will be remembered as a great son, brother, father and husband.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Marjorie Clark of Mount Pleasant; two daughters: Deborah Clark and Melanie Clark, both of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two brothers: Douglas Clark (Susan) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Dennis Clark (Leslie) of North Augusta, SC; and sister, Diane Clark Cason (Russell) of Atlanta, GA.
