MSgt. Donald A. Carr, USAF (Ret.), 65, of North Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Saturday, August 15, 2020. In consideration of the health and safety for all, his funeral services will be held private, by family invite at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel. His burial service will be held Friday at Beaufort National Cemetery.
Don was born January 18, 1955 in Bourne, MA, son of the late Harold Diar Carr and Beverly Langill Carr. He was a retired Master Sergeant of 25 years in the US Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion Post 166 and Voiture 1067 of Goose Creek, SC and a member of 40 & 8. Don was an avid bass fisherman and belonged to several fishing clubs. He was a true grill master who enjoyed cooking and feeding his friends and family.
He is survived by three sons: Derek Carr (Mel), David Christopher Carr and Donald Alan Carr II (Dana); brother, Bobby Carr (Carroll) of MA; seven grandchildren: Ethan Gregory Carr, Logan James Carr, Maverick Liam Carr, Maisie Ann Marie Carr, Ryne Alan Carr, Victoria Nacole Brower, Andrew Diar Carr; and four great-grandchildren.
