Don "Donnie" Brian Lambrakos

Don Brian Lambrakos, 58, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Sarah Jane Wentworth Lambrakos, died Saturday, October 13, 2012. A Memorial Service will be held, Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR, MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, at 7:00 pm. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Don was born February 27, 1954 in Charleston, SC , son of the late Pete Lambrakos and the late Mildred Rogerson Lambrakos. During his career, he was employed as a Long Line Fisherman and a Shoreman for International Longshoreman Clerks and Checkers. Don loved the ocean and fishing, he also enjoyed music and playing the guitar.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Sarah Wentworth Lambrakos, of Mt. Pleasant, a son, Tad Lambrakos, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, stepchildren; Kevin Mangels and his wife Bridgette, of Mishawaka, IN, Dayna Sassard and her husband, Allen, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, three grandchildren; Matthew and Ryan Sassard and Natasha Mangels, sisters; Dana Weil and her husband, Skippy, of Sullivan's Island, SC. Lisa Meade of Mt. Pleasant, a brother, Chris Lambrakos of Mt. Pleasant, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Don is predeceased by two brothers, David and Jerry Lambrakos.
