Dolores Eleanor McGuire Zink

Dolores Eleanor McGuire Zink, widow of the late Bernard Charles Zink of Mt. Pleasant, SC, passed away at her home on Saturday, October 23, 2010.   The relatives and friends of Dolores Zink are invited to attend the graveside service on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens at 11:00 am.  Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL on Monday, October 25, 2010, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Born in Brooklyn, New York on September 30, 1934, Dolores was the daughter of Howard McGuire and Cecilia Richardson McGuire.  As a wife and homemaker her greatest joy came from her family and closest friends. She was a member of The Hat Ladies of Charleston, the Keenagers Club and the Newcomers' Club. Surviving Dolores are her daughter, Debbie Cullen and her husband Mike of Medford, NY, son, Jerry Zink and his wife Beth of Mt. Pleasant, two grandsons, Tim Connelly and his wife Kate of Bellport, NY  and Drew Connelly and his wife Heather of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two granddaughters, Amy Cullen of Medford, NY and Emily Zink of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one great grandson, Jared Connelly of  Bellport,  NY and  dear friend Evelyn Squires of Mt. Pleasant. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two daughters, Karen and Dolores, and a brother, Jack McGuire.
