Dolores de Chadenedes Redman, 98, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late Lon Keith Redman died Saturday, November 24, 2018. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, November 29, 2018 in Christ Our King Catholic Church, 1149 Russell Drive at 10:30 am. Interment will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm.
Dolores was born September 26, 1920 in New York City, New York at the Plaza Hotel. She retired from civil service. She was a devoted wife and mother. Dolores was a fiercely loyal friend and had a tremendous inner strength. She was kind and generous and ever so elegant. She was a life long Catholic with a great steadfast faith. Dolores was married to the love of her life for 45 years and is now reunited with him in heaven.
She is survived by daughter, Lona Vest (Mike) of Mount Pleasant, SC; grandchildren, Hillary McLaurin and Joshua Vest; stepchildren, Lon Redman (Becky) of Sequim, WA and Kathy Maynard (Robert) of Lavonia, GA.
The family wishes to thank the devoted caregivers who made her days brighter, Luann Ward, Susan Cardwell, Khalilah Parker, Porscha McWhite and Tessa Steed.
