Dolores Louise Perry, 79, of North Charleston, SC, died Friday, February 10, 2017. Her funeral service will be held Sunday, February 19, 2017 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 6:00 pm. The family will receive friends Sunday one hour prior to the service.
Dolores was born March 25, 1937 in Akron, OH, daughter of the late Joseph Wharton and the late Helen May Hoover Wharton. Dolores was retired from the Navy Exchange at the Charleston Naval Base and enjoyed country music.
She is survived by four daughters: Darlene Lawrence of SC, Debbie Blackmon of MS, Diane Hess and Donna Archilla of FL; two sons, David Perry of FL, Darryll Perry of NC; brother, James Wharton and sister, Emma Jean Porter both of OH; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and her cat, Shelby. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Wharton.
