Dolores "Dee" Alice King Lambert, 87, of Isle of Palms, South Carolina, wife of the late Donald Jerry Lambert entered into eternal rest Sunday, December 6, 2020. Her graveside service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020 in the Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Friday, December 11, 2020 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. Due to COVID-19 mask will be required and social distancing will be observed.
Dee was born June 22, 1933 in Florence, New Jersey, daughter of the late Albert King and the late Alice Ireland King. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of the First United Methodist Church Isle of Palms.
She is survived by her son, Donald Jerry Lambert, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, SC; four daughters, Denise Snipes of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Dawn Winter of North Charleston, SC, Darlene Schultz of Essex, MD and Debra Kelps of Ravenswood, WV; one sister, Joan Shafer of Florence, NJ; eight grandchildren, Missy, Michelle, Kristen, Kendra, Jennifer, Matthew, Kelly and Thomas (TJ) and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Traci.
