In loving memory of Dolly Thomason, our dear “Ma,” who passed away peacefully on July 13, 2024. She was a beacon of love and strength, touching the lives of all who knew her. Now that Dolly has passed into the arms of our Lord, though her physical life on Earth is over, it is the beginning of a beautiful eternal journey for her.
Born Dolly Inman on October 21, 1937, she exemplified compassion and selflessness throughout her life. Her unwavering faith, love, and kindness brought joy to everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. She was truly the cornerstone of our family, always putting others before herself.
Dolly was passionate about sharing the love of our Lord with others. A loyal servant of God, Dolly loved her church, where she worked part-time and always looked forward to spending time with her church family. In Dolly’s free time, she enjoyed cooking for friends and family, playing cards with her friends, and loving on her great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Tom (Valerie), her son-in-law, Tommy, and her grandchildren, Joey (Carleigh), Jerry (Olivia), Michael, and Brandon (Jillian). Her legacy continues through her beloved great-grandchildren, Thomas, Mills, Sutton, Malia, Hunter, Jerry Jr., and William, whom she cherished dearly. Dolly was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Thomason, and her daughter, Laura Gladden.
Dolly will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. Dolly’s spirit will forever live on in our hearts, a testament to her endearing love and resilience. Her memory will continue to live on through us all.
