Dollie Janet Kasten

Dollie Janet Kasten, 87, of Goose Creek, SC, wife of Wayne Frederick Kasten entered into eternal rest Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 1:00 pm.  Interment to follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 26, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Stuhr Northwoods Chapel.  

Dollie was born September 1, 1935 in Goldsboro, NC, daughter of the late Bender McCoy Blake and the late Ada Mae Smith Blake.  Dollie enjoyed Hockey especially the Sting Rays, and watching her grandson play hockey and baseball.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Wayne Kasten; four children: Sandra McCoy of Summerville, SC, Randy (Sheri) Kasten of Charleston, SC, Alan Kasten of Goose Creek, SC and Dana (Cindy) Kasten of Summerville, SC; many loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two siblings, George (Pat) Blake and Rose (Raymond) Badard all of Wilmington, NC; nieces and nephews: Barry, Tammy, Georgia and Lisa.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Melody Jean Wilson.
