After returning to Charleston she taught at many elementary schools, including Sanders-Clyde, Mount Zion, finishing her career at St. James-Santee. She rejoined St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. She was involved in WELCA Circle 8, Altar Guild, and was always willing to give assistance wherever needed.
Diane was grateful for all the kind care and expertise delivered by her medical team and her caregivers.
