Diana Marie Boyd

Diana M. Boyd, 96, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at the home of her daughter in Mt. Pleasant, SC. She is survived by her brother, William Pitten of Melbourne, Florida, daughters Kathy Schafer of Cookeville, Tennessee, and Sue Hopkins of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and two grandsons Taylor Schuster of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Greyson Hopkins of Jackson, Wyoming. The family would like to thank Mrs. Boyd's caregiver, Cynthia Gilpin. A service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017, at 3:00 in the afternoon at St. Andrews Church, 440 Whilden Street, Mt. Pleasant, SC. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the home of Mrs. Boyd's grandson, 982 Colonial Drive, Mt. Pleasant, SC from 4:00-6:00pm on March 3, 2017. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Charleston, 4975 LaCross Road, North Charleston, SC 29406.
