Dewey Hall Aultman, 79, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Cloey Brown Aultman entered into eternity with his Heavenly Father on Monday, September 10, 2012. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2012 in Charleston Baptist Church at 11:00 am. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL. Dewey was born November 6, 1932 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Robert Edward Aultman and Thelma Schofield Aultman. He was a veteran and served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a retired Certified Master Technician with Rick Hendrick Chevrolet. Dewey was a member of Charleston Baptist Church and a former member of Pierpont Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Choir member. He was also a member of the Mariners Masonic Lodge. He loved fishing, was an accomplished carpenter, enjoyed trips to their mountain home but most of all he loved the Lord and his family.He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and we were blessed to have him in our lives. To God be the glory great things He has done!He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Cloey Brown Aultman of Charleston, SC, son, Timothy Hall Aultman and wife Lisa of Tampa, FL, daughter, Tina Aultman Savage of Goose Creek, SC, daughter, Lisa Aultman Bismore Gregory and husband Jay of Matthews, NC, 12 Grandchildren, Matthew, Amanda, Maegan, Savannah, Austin, Roger, Adam, Chelsea, Tara, Amber, Travis and Callie and 6 Great Grandchildren, Denver, Mathis, Kayleigh, Ethan, Joey and Owen. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Stephen Aultman and a daughter, Sherry Aultman Kilbane.Memorials may be made to Charleston Baptist Church, Building Fund, 13 San Miguel Road, Charleston, SC 29407.
