Dennis Eugene Lavery

Dennis Eugene Lavery, 59, husband of Donna Pichard Lavery, of North Charleston, SC, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, at 9:00 am. Burial to follow in Beaufort National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday at Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Mr. Lavery was born March 13, 1953 in New Kensington, PA, son of the late Bernard Lavery and the late Delores Dean Lavery. He was a carpenter with a residential construction company and a sales associate in retail. He was a veteran of the US Marines and also a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Pichard Lavery of North Charleston, SC; three sons, Ryan Lee Klingensmith of Pittsburgh, PA, Joshua Alan Lavery and Sean Paul Lavery, both of North Charleston, SC; daughter, Joy Lynn Pierce of Springdale, PA; sister, Cindy Lavery Clever of New Kensington, PA and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Eugene Lavery, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disabled Veterans National Foundation, 1020 19th St NW, Suite 475, Washington, DC 20036.
