Dennis Edmund Kelley, 81, of Huger, South Carolina, husband of Dorothy A. Peoples Kelley entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 19, 2026. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 27, 2026 at the Palmetto Presbyterian Church, 1720 Carolina Park Blvd. at 2:00 pm.

Dennis was born August 12, 1944 in Wilmington, Delaware, son of the late Sam Kelley and the late Josephine Miller Kelley. An electrical engineer, he served in the United States Army National Guard for 33 years. An active member of Palmetto Presbyterian, he worked as their photographer.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy A. Kelley of Huger, SC; stepchildren, Ken Loud (Patti) of Virginia Beach, VA, Lisa Loud (John Shaw) of North Charleston, SC and Bill Loud (Leanna) of The Azores; four step grandchildren, Shannon (Adam) of Virginia Beach, VA, Mac of Annapolis, MD, Ryan of Ft. Myers, FL, and Nolan of The Azores; and one great grandson, Colt of Virginia Beach, VA. He was the last of his immediate family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Palmetto Presbyterian Church Mission Committee.
