Dennis W. Easterling, 81, of Summerville, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Sunday, February 15, 2026. His Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 12:00 pm.

Dennis was born July 2, 1944 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Claude Easterling and Beatrice Shuler Zelenak. Dennis answered the call of duty, serving in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam. He was a proud member of I.B.E.W. Local 776 for over fifty years.

He is survived by his daughter, Denise Brooks of Charleston, SC; son, Derek W. Easterling of Summerville, SC; Grandchildren include Wyatt David Brooks (12), Logan Dennis Brooks (9); Kiyana Sole Easterling (11) and Berkeley James Easterling (2). He is also survived by his Brother-in-Law James Hughes; his niece Lisa Fairman and her husband Dave Fairman of Virginia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ginger Hughes.
