Dennis Patrick  Brennan, 87, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Anna Marie Domenici Brennan entered into eternal rest Wednesday, January 11, 2023. His graveside service with military honors will be held Monday, January 23, 2023 in the Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd. at 9:00 am. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Dennis was born February 16, 1935 in New York, New York, son of the late William Brennan and the late Margaret Cahill Brennan. Dennis held a number of titles and positions in his long and active career. He proudly served as Corporal in the United States Marines, a Patrolman and Detective in the New York Police Department, President and Vice President of his 3,800 member union, the Detectives Endowment Association, as well as, Vice President of the Public Employees Federation of the New York State AFL-CIO. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anna Marie Brennan; children, Dennis Brennan, Jr., Patricia and Daniel Barabino, Stephen and Mary Ann Brennan, Sheila and Timothy Fitzpatrick, Maureen Fleetwood and the late Brent Fleetwood, Kathleen Brennan and Harold Watson, Marie and Rick Mark, George and Theresa Reeth, Mark and Laura Reeth; 16 grandchildren and their spouses; and two brothers, Kevin and Neil Brennan.
