Denise Elaine Artis, 61, of Ladson, SC, entered into eternal rest Sunday, May 30, 2021. Her Graveside Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 5, 2021 in the Sunset Memorial Gardens, 2915 Ashley Phosphate Road at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, SC 29406.

Denise was born October 14, 1959 in Memphis, Tennessee, daughter of the late Jasper Carroll Holladay and June Louise Lovett Holladay.

She is survived by her mother, June Lovett Holladay; daughter, Penny (Chris) Sellers of Celina, TX; two sisters, Donna (Rodney) Bryant of Ladson, SC and Amber (Mario) Jones of North Charleston, SC; two sons, Wayne Ficke and Nathan Artis; brother, David Holladay, of Moncks Corner, SC; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by father, Jasper Carroll Holladay and her son, Matthew Pabst.
