Demetra Toula Pappas Magoulas , 79, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Mike Magoulas entered into eternal rest Wednesday, June 21, 2017. The family will receive friends Monday, June 26, 2017 in The Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Trisagion Service at 6:00 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2017 in the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, 30 Race Street at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Toula was born January 16, 1938 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Arthur Pappas and Efterpi G. Logothetis Pappas. She was a graduate of Rivers High School of 1956. Toula was an executive secretary with the Charleston Chamber of Commerce and Administrative Assistant at the Veteran Administration Hospital of Charleston until her retirement. She was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Magoulas of Charleston, SC; step-daughter, Linda M. Mullen (Steve) of Bridgewater, MA; step-son, Michael Magoulas of WV; three step-grandchildren, Andrew Mullen, Thomas Mullen, Antonia Magoulas; adopted grandson, Robert Martin; two brothers, Dr. Alex Pappas, MD of Charleston, SC, and George Pappas of Thousand Oaks, CA; nephew, Alex Pappas of Thousand Oaks, CA; niece Merredith Triester of San Francisco; two grand nephews, Miles,6, and Liard Treister,5; friend and caretaker, Sonya Turner of Charleston, SC, and Aphroditi Rubeo charleston SC.
