Debra Zerbst Vealey

Debra Zerbst Vealey, 70, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Friday, August 18, 2023. Her memorial service will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street at 1:00 pm. A private Interment will be held at Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel.  Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Debra was born August 17, 1953 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Wilton R. Zerbst, Sr. and Jean Chambers Zerbst.  She was a floral designer and had a love of gardening, creating flower arrangements and estate sales.

She is survived by her children: Clinton Vealey, Dalton Vealey, and Aundrea Vealey all of Charleston, SC; siblings: Wilton Robert "Rob" Zerbst, Jr (Angela) and Rhonda Brooks (Roy); two grandchildren: Bryson and Charlie; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Wilton and Jean Zerbst and sister, Gwen Bates.
