Debra Riner Gruber

Debra Riner Gruber, 66, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Michael Wayne Gruber, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, December 8, 2024. The family will receive friends Friday, December 13, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway. Her Inurnment will take place Saturday, December 14, 2024, in the Live Oak Memorial Gardens, at 10:00 am.

Debra was born May 11, 1958 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late William Harley Riner, Sr. and the late Patricia Mellard Riner. Debra had such a love for life and always spread that love to anyone she met. Her radiant smile would light up any room she entered and her laugh was so contagious. Debra loved the beach, watching her clemson tigers play football, and spending time with her loved ones. She was always so generous and had a heart of gold. She touched so many lives. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Although Debra is gone, she will live in our hearts forever. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Jonathan Gruber (Bridgette), Jeremy Gruber, and Jacob Gruber; daughter, Jenna Gruber; sister, Lori Ann McClearen (Victor); brother, William H. Riner, Jr. (Teresa); and grandchildren, Aiden Gruber, and Addison Gruber.
