Deborah Atkinson Varn, 66, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, wife of James Hamilton Varn, entered eternal rest Thursday, June 6, 2024. Her funeral service will be held at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 2:00 pm. The interment will be in Riverview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Reception to follow after final graveside ceremony.

Deborah was born August 9, 1957, in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Julius Robert Koger and the late Deloris Collins Koger. She was a Server/Manager in the Hospitality Industry. In her youth, she enjoyed working with ceramics and soaking up the sun. In later years, she took delight in giving gifts to loved ones, spending time with her grandchildren, and had a passion and eye for fashion and beauty. She loved her family and was especially proud of her daughters and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy and his two older brothers; two daughters, Jessica Atkinson Wooton (Justin) of Moncks Corner, SC, and Victoria Virginia Atkinson (Garrett Bobst) of Happy Valley, OR; four grandchildren, Lucy Pearl Wooton (11), Lydia Rosewood Atkinson (7), Keanu Louis Atkinson (5) and Clark Elwood Wooton (5); a brother, Robbie Koger (Margaret); sister, Monica Allen; uncle, Harold Lee Koger; uncle, Irby Lee Koger; aunt, Judy Blommer (Bob) along with many beloved cousins, nephews, and nieces.
