Deborah Ann Roper

Deborah Ann Roper, 66, of Hanahan, SC, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Her graveside service will be held Sunday, September 2, 2018 in Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Avenue at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road.

Deborah was born August 28, 1952 in Charleston, SC, daughter of George L. Carroll and Miriam A. Harp. She loved taking care of her plants and flowers. Deborah also loved watching birds and caring for her own pet birds.

She is survived by her mother; husband, William L. Roper of Hanahan, SC; four daughters: Ali Roper of Hanahan, SC, Morgan Creel of Hanahan, SC, Crystal Driggers (Jason) of Summerville, SC and Melissa Finch (Daniel) of Cross, SC; grandchildren: Brianna, A'Niyah and Z'ariyah; brothers: George (Sharon), Kenny and Kevin; sister, Pamela (Ralph).

She was preceded in death by her father, George L. Carroll and a granddaughter, Serenity Frazier.
