Deborah Marie Cahoon

Deborah Marie Cahoon, 46, of Charleston, South Carolina unexpectedly entered into eternal rest Sunday, July 31, 2016. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 4, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Her funeral and burial services will be private.


Deborah was born on January 15, 1970 in Beaufort, South Carolina.

She is survived by her husband Kevin King of Charleston, SC; her son Jon Champagne of Boston, MA; her father and stepmother Walter & Cherie Cahoon of Beaufort, SC; her sister Dorothy Amelly; 3 step-siblings: Todd Shipp, Amy Shipp Kaiser and Candace Pierre, all of Beaufort, SC; and her beloved dog Barkley; and an astounding amount of other family, friends and loved ones.

Deborah had a beautiful soul and a huge heart that knew no boundary to empathy, kindness and love. She loved each one of her family and friends completely and was loved and treasured by them in return. Her loss will be felt deeply and by many.
