Deanna Bahr Long

Deanna Bahr Long, 71, of Hollywood, South Carolina, wife of Freddie L. Long entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 20, 2016. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street at 11:00 a.m. Interment, private. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Deanna was born November 27, 1944 in Conway, South Carolina, daughter of the late Raymond H. Bahr and the late Gertrude Heissenbuttel Bahr. She was a graduate of Rivers High School and of Roper School of Nursing. She retired after 30 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the children's neonatal unit at the Medical University of South Carolina. Deanna was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.

In addition to her husband, Freddie, she is survived by two daughters, Christina "Tina" L. Fisher (Brian) of Hollywood, SC, and Elizabeth L. Hayes (Bill) of Summerville, SC.
