Dean L. Craven, 73, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, died Thursday, May 10, 2012.
Born August 21, 1938 in Charleston, SC, he was the son of Walter J. Brown and Lillie C. Brown. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and employed by the US Civil Service in Records Management.
Dean is survived by his son: Russell D. Craven and his wife Connie of Gilbert, SC; granddaughter: Jessica Elaine Craven; former wife: Brenda G. Bogart of Gilbert, SC; a special niece: Juliet A. Kennedy and her husband Rick of Goose Creek and many nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his sisters: Dorothy Hilton, Patricia Shore, Jacqueline Green, and Betty Anderson McGee.
A funeral service for Mr. Craven will be held at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Monday, May 14, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel Monday, from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
