Dawn Bennett McMillan

Dawn Bennett McMillan, 60, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Harold Reed McMillan entered into eternal rest Monday, March 12, 2018. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 15, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 in St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 413 Geddes Ave at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Born August 3, 1957 to Mike and Bette Bennett. She attended St. John's High School where she met her future husband of 39 years. Together they had 3 boys, H. Reed McMillan, Jr., Bennett F. McMillan, and Evan P. McMillan (Amy), 3 grandsons, Hunter, Austin and Wyatt. Surviving siblings are Scott Bennett (Donna), Craig Bennett, Beth Meree (Eddie), Lise Dahlman (Richard Frank). She is also survived by sister's-in-law Peggy Elsey (Mark), Julia Rusch (Ricky) and brother-in-law Kenneth Smith (June).

Dawn enjoyed hunting, camping and being outdoors. She was an avid needle worker and a proud MaMa.
