Davis William Reeves, 26, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Monday, October 6, 2025. His funeral service will be held Sunday, October 12, 2025 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street at 2:00 pm. 

Davis was born February 21, 1999 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Robert Sloan Reeves and Laurin Golding Reeves. He graduated from Coastal Christian Preparatory school as valedictorian in 2017. He then attended the University of South Carolina and graduated with honors and received a bachelor’s degree in retail management in 2021. He then moved to Greenville to be a manager at Kohl’s. In February of 2023 he became a relationship banker for Bank of America, he worked there up until the time of his passing.

When Davis wasn’t working, he loved spending time with friends, family and his cat PeeWee. He also enjoyed watching sports, traveling, and relaxing at the beach. He was an avid Gamecock fan and attended most Carolina games with his family. He also took great pride in his appearance and enjoyed expressing himself through his sharp sense of style. Beyond his personal interests, Davis gave back to his community by volunteering at events organized through his workplace. He was an extrovert with a free spirit, whose kind heart and joyful energy could brighten any room. Davis had a natural gift for uplifting others and making people feel joy. He’s someone a lot of people admired. Davis was like a flame that burned brightly and went out too quickly. He will be loved and missed for all eternity.

He is survived by his parents, Sloan and Laurin; brother, Keaton S. Reeves; sister, Rachel B. Reeves (Ryan Matherly); maternal grandmother, Mary Gloria Golding all of Charleston, SC; and paternal grandparents, Robert B. Reeves and Trudie B. Reeves of Bamberg, SC.

Davis was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bill C. Golding of Columbia; and paternal grandparents, Thomas G. and Sylvia F. Davis of Wadmalaw Island.
