David Charles Schach, 54, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Cathy Lynn Gaskins Schach, died Thursday, November 26, 2015. An informal Gathering of Friends will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015, in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
David was born October 9, 1961 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, son of the late Charles Elmer Schach and Mary Ellen Rohe Schach. He was an operations shift supervisor and water analyst with the Charleston Water System. David was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
David is survived by his wife Cathy; his step-daughter, Emmie Larsen of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his step-son, P.J. Larsen of Menifee, CA; his sisters, Sharon Radel and her husband, Nelson of Altoona, PA, and Beth Sackett of Charleston, SC; his nephews, Nelson Radel and his wife Lisa, and their daughter Paige of Altoona, PA, Christopher Sackett and his wife Chrissy, and their daughter Daisy of Awendaw, SC; and his uncles, William D. Rohe of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and George G. Rohe and his wife Patricia, and their daughter Kelly of Williamsport, PA.
