David Richard Moorer IV, 54, of Hanahan, SC, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013. A Celebration of David's Life will be held at the graveside at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 in the Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.
David was born December 18, 1958 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late David Richard Moorer III and the late Barbara Fabian Moorer Powell.
He is survived by his step-father, Bert H. Powell; his nephews, Cade Nicholas Aloisi and Conner Powell Aloisi, both of Hanahan, SC; and his niece, Courtney Allyn Aloisi of Hanahan, SC. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Jean Elizabeth Moorer Aloisi.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials may be made to the Roper/St. Francis Foundation (Memo: Cancer Research) 69 Barre Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
