David Robert Major

David Robert Major, 74, husband of Rahnda T. Major, passed over into the presence of the Lord to his eternal home on Monday, August 21, 2023. His funeral service will be held Friday, August 25, 2023, in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, at 12:00 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 AM.

David was born in Waycross, GA. He was the son of The Reverend Robert W. Major and Bess D. Major. He was the brother of the late John and late Susan Major. He is survived by his loving wife, Rahnda, of 52 years;  Daughter, Aimee M. Steinberger (Mitch); granddaughters, Rose and Jasmine; Son, Aaron R. Major.

David was a graduate of Mars Hill College and was a self-taught audio visual contractor, but David's focus was his love for his family, children, and grandchildren. David always said we would have fun no matter what because we're together. He focused on giving us an attractive safe home and could fix anything. David was devoted to being a man of character, and following God's leading hand. He loved music of all kinds, and sang in choirs everywhere he lived. Today he is singing in Heaven!
