David Lee Knaub, 42, of Charleston, South Carolina entered into eternal rest Thursday, February 25, 2016. His memorial service will be held Monday, February 29, 2016 in New Beginnings Community Church, 849 Ft. Johnson Road at 7:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

David was born October 4, 1973 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Michael Laddie Knaub and Deborah Long Knaub. He was a musician on the James Island High School drumline and played in various local bands that led him to becoming a DJ. David loved cooking and feeding people. David was an avid Philadelphia Eagles Fan. His love of life and continued fight to maintain it was an inspiration to many.

He is survived by his parents; two sisters: Kimberly Ann Anderssen-Lee (Tom) and Paula Murdock (Chad); two grandmothers: Sarah Long of Charleston, SC and Betty Jennings (Clayton) of Johns Island, SC; numerous aunts and uncles; niece, Brittany Anderssen and nephews: Jarret Knaub-Maxwell, Parc and Gray Murdock.
