David Brian Jones, Jr., 93, of Round O, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, June 21, 2023. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 26, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 pm. Entombment to follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 pm until time of the service.

David was born July 4, 1929 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late David Brian Jones Sr. and the late Frances Marie Seymour Jones. He worked hard as a truck driver and owned his own business David Jones Seafood Trucking.  He will be remembered for the way he loved his friends and family.  

He is survived by his children, Sue Ann Jones Jager (John), James Richard Jones (Kelly Jo), Robert Francis Jones (Arleigh), and Daniel Seymour Jones; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathryn Whray Jones and his son, David Brian Jones III.
