David Stuart Jones, 51, of Tampa, Florida, died on Monday, July 30, 2018. His memorial service will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL,1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens.
David was born August 1, 1966 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Dr. Nicholas Jones and the late Lillian Ortiz Jones. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Johnson and Wales University and worked in Sales for CGM Services in Tampa, Florida. David had a passion for life and made friends everywhere he went. He loved to entertain and cook for family and friends. David was also an avid golfer and tennis player and was always up for a match! David is best known for his quick wit, infectious laugh and ability to have fun in any situation.
He is survived by his wife Kerry Lyn Jones and children, Caroline, Ashley and Matthew, all of Tampa, FL; brother, Bruce Jones; and sister-in-law, Kari Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Brian Jones.
