David Monroe Haselden, III

David Monroe Haselden, III, 59, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, October 7, 2025. His Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 3:00 pm.

David was born July 11, 1966 in Marion, South Carolina, son of the late David Monroe Haselden, Jr. and the late Agnes Brown. David was a kind, generous soul loved by all who knew him. With the influence of his Methodist faith, he was one of God’s Christian Soldiers. As a child, he was an avid Boy Scout, an Eagle Scout and gifted musician as he played the Saxophone throughout high school and in the Clemson marching band for 8 years. He loved all things Clemson! His memory will forever live in our hearts and he will be missed so much!

He is survived by his fur babies Kodi and Riley; sister, Denise Haselden; best friend, Eddie Potter; his bonus father Wesley Haselden; his bonus mother Shirley Burke; his bonus sisters Chrystal Driggers and Candy Greene; his bonus brothers Jamie Haselden and David Greene; his bonus niece Thalya Huff; and his bonus nephews James Haselden, Dylan Greene, David Greene Jr., and Caleb Green.

He’s preceded in death by his Aunt Francis Drew and many cousins.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Shriner’s Children Organization.
