David Edward Hardin, 63, of Ravenel, South Carolina, husband of Donna Lockaby Hardin entered into eternal rest Sunday, December 13, 2015. A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held Thursday, December 17, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private.

David was born July 30, 1952 in Charleston, SC, son of Virginia Massenberg Hardin and the late Grady Floyd Hardin, Sr. He attended St. Paul's High School and was the Owner/Operator of Hardin Enterprises.

He is survived by his mother, Virginia Hardin of Hollywood, SC; wife, Donna L. Hardin and their four pawed children, "Sunshine Too" and "Scrappy" of Ravenel, SC, four brothers, Grady "Guy" Floyd Hardin, Jr., (Cathy) of Ladson, SC, Richard B. Hardin of Hollywood, SC, Jimmy Douglas Hardin ( Shirley) of Gladewater, TX, and Timothy Ray Hardin (Wendy) of Midlothian, TX, sister, Nancy Lee Amerson (Marvin) of Hollywood, SC; many nieces and nephews.

David is preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte Diane Hardin Mueller and her husband John Mueller and his four pawed child "Sunshine One".
