Entered into eternal rest on the morning of Saturday, May 14, 2011, David Timothy Grimsley.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial services in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Thursday, May 19, 2011, at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will be private. 

David was born April 20, 1987 in Charleston, SC, a son of David Wilkes Grimsley and Katrina Grimsley.  He was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church and worked as a landscaper.

He is survived by his parents of Charleston; his life partner, Nicole Suders of Charleston; two daughters, Shannon and Hailey Grimsley, both of Charleston; a brother, Jonathan Grimsley of Charleston; two sisters, Elizabeth Burnett of Seattle, WA and Dana Grimsley of Charleston; maternal grandmother, Valerie Miller of Charleston; and maternal grandfathers, Carl Miller of Charleston and Frank Wables of Athens, IL.  He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Richard J. Grimsley, Sr. and Elizabeth Ackerman Grimsley.
