David Erwin

 David Vincent Erwin, 57, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2010, at Hospice of Charleston. David was born December 12, 1952 in Charleston, WV, preceded to heaven by his parents, Vinson Erwin and Nadine Ruth Miller Erwin, and 4 loved infant children and Uncle Carl. He was a member of Union United Methodist Church in Irmo, SC. He attended and served Citadel Square Baptist in Charleston. He was a Scout Leader for Troop 314 in Columbia, SC. He was a softball coach, avid fisherman, drummer, salesman, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his daughter, Rochelle Doty and her husband, Glenn of Elgin, SC; son, David Patrick Erwin of Columbia, SC; sister, Patricia Call and her husband, Doug of Mt. Pleasant, SC, former spouse, Linda Erwin, five nephews and three nieces, 5 grand nieces and 1 grand nephew. The relatives and friends of David V. Erwin are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, in The Chapel of Citadel Square Baptist Church, 328 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29401 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation is one hour prior to service. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of Columbia, Troop 314, 715 Betsy Drive, Columbia, SC 29210 or Citadel Square Baptist Church.
