David "Doc" W. Wannamaker, Sr.

David "Doc" W. Wannamaker, Sr.
Doc attended Porter Gaud and graduated from Andrews High School. He later attended the Baptist College of Charleston where he was a member of The Gentlemen of Poseidon Fraternity. He was a career Journeyman Electrician in several states from 1973 until retirement. He was a Mason and Shriner. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and fishing, and will be remembered for the way he loved his grandkids.
He is survived by his beloved son, David W. Wannamaker II,(Nancy); three grandchildren, Victoria "Tori" Wannamaker, David W. Wannamaker III, and Magnolia "Nola" Wannamaker; nieces and nephews, Cyndie Lee (Foster), and Tamara Whitley (Dustin); and grand nieces and nephews, Ty, Callie, and Macie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Gordon Wannanaker and Mrs. Cynthia Wannamaker and brothers, Gordon Wannamaker and Allen "Joe" Weir Wannamaker.
We will always carry the memory of you in our hearts.
